About Putt for Passion

As Athletes for Hope marked its 20th Anniversary, the Fourth Annual Putt for Passion Golf Tournament, presented by Thrivent, brought together athletes, advocates, and supporters on May 4th, 2026 at Kenwood Country Club in Bethesda, MD for a special afternoon celebrating the power of sport to create positive change.

Set against Kenwood’s scenic backdrop, Putt for Passion honored two decades of mobilizing athletes to serve, lead, and strengthen communities nationwide. This milestone event reflected AFH’s enduring belief that athletes are uniquely positioned to champion mental wellbeing, advocacy, and connection beyond the game.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our participants, the tournament raised more than $150,000 to benefit AFH Wellbeing — supporting programs that promote athlete mental health and equip athletes with the tools to drive impact through education, community engagement, advocacy, and storytelling.

This milestone event will host a limited field of golfers at Kenwood Country Club, and spots fill quickly each year.
