In recognition and celebration of Black History Month, Athletes for Hope and Etan Thomas are kicking off a series of panels in which athletes share their perspectives and stories on what it means to be Black in America and how they use their platforms to make the change they hope to see. The first panel in this series features Southern University student-athletes Colyn Givens (football), Zavier Moore (baseball) and Paytin Mercado (softball).
A special thank you to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition who will be donating copies of Etan’s new book, Police Brutality and White Supremacy: The Fight Against American Traditions, to students at Southern University.
