How Athletes can Help Kids in the Hospital

Athletes for Hope works with various charities to help kids in hospitals have less stress and more activities to keep them busy. One of the organizations we work with is Starlight Children’s Hospitals. Starlight creates moments of joy and comfort for hospitalized kids and their families. For 35 years, Starlight’s programs have positively impacted more than 60 million critically, chronically and terminally ill or injured children in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. They don’t just work with us to coordinate athlete visits, they:

Athletes can visit children at a children’s hospital or facility near them, distribute Brave Gowns, participate in activities with the kids at their bedside or in the hospital children’s playroom or even help build fun centers at local facilities. If you are interested in giving back to kids in the local hospital, contact us today!

Everyone, athletes and non-athletes, can support Starlight’s work by visiting and by following Starlight on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
