During the SXSW (South by Southwest) Interactive Festival you expect to see tens of thousands of attendees trying out the newest technologies and listening to live music. You don’t expect to hear how professional athletes are giving back to society. This March was different. SXSW now has a sports track where people from the tech, sports and nonprofit spaces are in attendance. This three-day sports track tackles the future of sport—in all its forms—from a cultural and technological perspective, while exploring a diverse range of topics encompassing all sports across all levels of play. Our CEO, Ivan Blumberg, had the honor of presenting at the festival about the mission of Athletes for Hope and conducted our Causeway Education Workshop. We appreciate the opportunity to present at SXSW and look forward to engaging in the future.
