Many athletes want to give back but don’t know where to start. Founded in 2006 by athletic legends like Muhammad Ali, Mia Hamm, and Andre Agassi Athletes for Hope (AFH) was created to connect athletes of all levels with the tools and opportunities to make meaningful impact.
By turning passion into purpose, AFH helps athletes build stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities.

Over the years, athletes have told us that mental health—both their own and that of young people—is a cause they deeply care about. In response, we created two signature mental health programs that offer meaningful, flexible ways to take action. Beyond mental health, our AFH University and AFH High School programs empower collegiate and high school athletes to lead on a wide range of causes in their communities.
Your passion, your impact. Want to get involved with Athletes for Hope? Let us know.
