LANCE ARMSTRONG: This is, in my opinion, the prototypical place for someone who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease like cancer. Mr. Huntsman has been incredibly generous with not only his money but I think more importantly his time and passion… just sitting with him today and sitting through meetings you can tell that this is not a man that said ‘I’ve done well in business, I’m going to give some money away.’ This is a man who has embraced the disease, embraced the technology and embraced the language and just walking through the infusion room this is a man who really embraced people who are fighting the disease today and so I respect him for that and it’s an honor for me to be here and we look forward to working together and trying to ultimately turn this into a very nice hotel in a few years when cancer is gone.

JON M. HUNTSMAN: Thank you, Lance. I’ve just returned a few hours ago from Saudi Arabia, so if I look a little jet-lagged, I am. We’ve been in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and various countries talking about cancer. Cancer is a world-wide problem. Someone dies every minute and since we’ve been sitting here several people have died of cancer. One out of two men and one out of three women will have cancer in their lifetime. We’ve got the greatest respect for Lance. He represents America and the world in a way that no one else can and he’s done it in a dignified way drawing attention to early detection, drawing attention to education, drawing attention to what it means for our government and other governments-- the people who are financing this horrifying disease… and it’s a great privilege to have him visit our facility and see what we have and see the great efforts we’ve put in. We will be announcing in the next few we’re doubling our cancer hospital because the lines are too long for people waiting for cancer treatment today and we cannot let that happen; we must take care of them. To have Lance here today and knowing we can work together as a team and how we can combat this disease is a great blessing to us and to individuals. We hope that we can motivate and move others that they can recognize that this is the world’s most serious disease. It’s the number one killer in America today for people under the age of 85. Working as a great team and together with our professionals and with many in Lance’s organization, we’re going to conquer this disease; we’re going to conquer this disease.
