Athlete Mental Health Week 2026

Thanks for Being Apart of the Movement

Thank you for joining us for Athlete Mental Health Week. Your engagement and openness helped make this week a powerful step forward for athlete well-being.

Athletes for Hope was proud to partner with Hilinski’s Hope, the Kevin Love Fund, Morgan’s Message, The Hidden Opponent, and the Sarah Shulze Foundation to raise awareness, break stigma, and share meaningful mental health resources with athletes nationwide.

Athlete Mental Health Week is for all athletes, at every level. If you missed any sessions—or want to revisit them—we invite you to watch the panels from the week and continue the conversation.

Athlete Mental Health Week!

#AMHW2026 is a nationwide movement to amplify and unite athletes’ voices, advocate for #MentalHealthInSports, and break down stigma.

Athlete Mental Health Week brought together athletes, teams, schools, and organizations together to amplify athlete voices, share real stories, and prioritize mental well-being in sport. Through engaging conversations, virtual sessions, and practical resources, we created a space for learning, connection, and action on and off the field.

Kelsey Plum Advocates for AMHW

In recognition of Athlete Mental Health Week and National Girls & Women in Sports Day, we’re honored to share words from Kelsey Plum that resonate deeply with athletes everywhere. We’re proud to stand alongside the Kelsey Plum Foundation as they continue to support kids and invest in youth mental health through sport. When young athletes are supported early, they’re better equipped to navigate pressure and build lasting resilience.
