Athletes for Hope’s first annual Play for Good event will be an afternoon to celebrate, recognize and appreciate the power of the athletic spirit in making the world a better place. We invite you to join us in person to support our organization’s efforts to educate, inspire and connect athletes to underserved communities throughout the U.S. and beyond.

Play for Good 2022 Event Highlights

Fun for the whole family! Our event space at the St. James Complex will include batting cages, golf simulation, rock wall and kids play area.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet AFH Athletes and bid in a silent auction. Food and drink will be provided.

2022 Community Hero Award Presentation

Apart from being one of the most decorated swimmers of all time, Katie Ledecky supports a wide variety of impactful organizations such as Bikes for the World and Wounded Warriors, and she recently partnered with Panasonic and Discovery Education to launch a program that inspires student innovation in STEM education. 

Katie is the embodiment of AFH’s vision to channel the athletic spirit to make the world a better place which is exactly why she’s this year’s AFH Community Hero!

Katie will make a virtual appearance at 2022 Play for Good, accepting her award with a virtual message from our previous Community Hero Award recipient, Stephen Curry.
