Washington Freedom Players continue to volunteer with Doorways for Women
Rebecca Moros and Erin McLeod of the Washington Freedom spent Thursday evening with children at Doorways for Women. They spent the evening reading, playing games, and interacting with the children while their parents or guardians were attending an educational seminar. This is the second time that Moros and McLeod have spent time with Doorways for Women. Previously they attended a meeting where they learned about the organization and met the staff members. On June 15th, Doorways was awarded the 2009 Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management.
