The Washington Freedom visit the Germantown Boys and Girls ClubAlex Singer, Christen Karniski, and Emily Janss of the Washington Freedom, spent the day with the Germantown Boys and Girls Club of Maryland. The players began the day speaking to the club about the importance of having a healthy and nutritious diet, staying fit by being active, getting enough sleep, stretching, and being aware of the negative effects of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. After the talk the players held a soccer clinic for the children, coaching and instructing them. The day ended with the players socializing and interacting with the kids. It was definitely a great day for the kids and the Washington Freedom players!
