Etan Thomas Stops by Children’s Healthcare of AtlantaOn February 11th, Etan Thomas, center for the Atlanta Hawks, visited patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Thomas hung out with the children in the Cardiac Wing and Transplant Unit and passed out Valentine’s Day gift bags. Seeing Thomas in their wing really lifted the kids’ spirits. Back in 2007, Thomas had open heart surgery to repair a leak of the aortic valve. This is not Thomas’ first visit to a hospital and he regularly gives back to his community. We are grateful that Thomas is a long-time member of Athletes for Hope. Keep up the good work Etan! More Photos: |
