Taylor Graham

BIOGRAPHY

Taylor Graham was born in Fair Oaks, California, the son of Randy and Gail Graham. After graduating from Rio Americano High School, Taylor walked on to the Stanford University soccer team during his freshman year. He eventually became the team captain and graduated from Stanford in 2002 with a degree in International Relations and in 2005 obtained a graduate degree in Sociology. He was selected in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft, and will play for Seattle Sounders FC, the MLS expansion team.

Athletic Achievements
  • 2005 USL Defender of the Year
  • Helped lead the Cardinal to three Final Fours in his four years at Stanford
  • Selected to the All-PAC 10 First Team and NCSAA Far West All-Region Third team in 2002
  • Selected All-PAC 10 Honorable Mention and All-Academic All-PAC 10 First team in 2001
  • Named First Team All-League at Rio Americano in 1997 and 1998
