February 5, 2009 – Portland Trail Blazers guard Steve Blake calls in to 4th Annual Buzz 105.1 Pre-Valentines Day Radiothon supporting Children’s Cancer Association

Though he was on the road with the Trail Blazers, Steve Blake found the time to call in to Portland’s Buzz 105.1 Radiothon to show his support for CCA and inspire listeners and Blazers fans to call in and support local kids through CCA.

The Radiothon was hugely successful, and raised nearly $263,000 during the 28-hour radio event. Steve also donated game tickets, and a signed jersey and pair of shoes, which pulled in $1800 during the on-air auction.

Steve is working with the Children’s Cancer Association to develop more ways for him to be involved.
