On September 11th, Athletes for Hope connected over 70 professional and Olympic athletes with over 40 charitable causes throughout the country to help make a lasting difference in their local communities. The connections were made as part of Athletes for Hope’s partnership with the United We Serve campaign and the organization’s participation in the first official September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance. Athletes for Hope members who pledged their time on the September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance included players from the NBA, WNBA, NASCAR, and the US Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Teams.
