January 13, 2009 – Olympic Wrestler Sally Roberts Speaks at the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region

Olympic Wrestler Sally Roberts spoke to 25 kids through the B&G Club Teen Leadership Academy on January 13, 2009. During her visit, Sally spoke about her struggles growing up and focused on topics such as believing in yourself, erseverance, and goal setting. Sally also handed out goal sheets to the kids so they could write down what they wanted to work for this upcoming year.

Throughout the session, the kids were very responsive and had many questions for Sally. Sally and the kids had a great time, and she can’t wait to go back again soon!
