June 13 2008 - Sixth Annual Ross Powers Foundation Golf TournamentThe Manchester Journal The 6th annual Ross Powers Foundation Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 13 at Tater Hill Golf Club, 6802 Popple Dungeon Road, Windham. The event is sponsored by Okemo Mountain. Registration begins at 12 p.m. and the tournament begins at 1 p.m. A dinner reception and awards ceremony with great prizes will be held for the competitors following the event. This is a four-person best ball scramble with two drives taken from each team player. Basic team entry fee is $125 per golfer or $500 for a team of four. Every player in the tournament receives a player gift bag and individual post tournament dinner tickets. Additional guests for the dinner afterwards can purchase dinner tickets for a $30 dollar donation at the registration desk June 13. The Ross Powers Foundation is a non-profit foundation that helps provide financial support for talented athletes nationally. The Ross Powers Foundation feels that opportunity to achieve excellence should not be limited by one's financial situation.
