BIOGRAPHY

Rachel Buehler was born in Del Mar, California on August 26, 1985 and attended Stanford University, majoring in Human Biology/Pre-med. She graduated in 2007 as a three-year captain for the Cardinal, and was chosen as the ESPN Academic All-American of the Year. She made the US National Team roster in March of 2008, and attended the Beijing Olympics. She was one of three members of the 2008 Beijing Gold Medal team allocated to the brand new Santa Clara, California club FC Gold Pride.
