Patrick Ianni

BIOGRAPHY

Patrick Ianni was born in Lodi, California. A soccer standout and sociology major at UCLA, he left after his junior season for the MLS SuperDraft where he was taken 8th overall by the Houston Dynamo. A member of Houston’s MLS Championship squads in both 2006 and 2007, the centerback was given the honor of being named to the 2008 U.S. Olympic men’s team. Ianni has also seen international experience as a member of the U-14, U-16, U-18, U-20 and U-23 U.S. National teams. Having recently been traded, Ianni will play for expansion team, Seattle Sounders FC in 2009.
