BIOGRAPHY
Nicole Davis was born on April 24, 1982 in Stockton, California. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 2000, and went on to major in political science at the University of Southern California. In her senior season in 2003, she led USC to their second consecutive NCAA National Championship, displaying her strong skills in the libero position. Davis was the first foreign-born libero to play in the Turkish league, leading her team to second place in the 2007 season. She also was a member of the 2008 USA Olympic Team and helped her team win a silver medal.
Athletic Accomplishments
- Three year letterwinner at Lincoln High School
- Helped her high school team to the NorCal championships in 1999 and 2000
- Was named to the Junior Olympic Team in 1999 and 2000
- Her senior year at USC she started all 35 matches and averaged 4.25 digs per game – the second-best single season performance in program history
- In 2005 she earned a gold medal as Team USA won its third-straight NORCECA Continental Championship
