Nicole Branagh

BIOGRAPHY

Nicole Branagh was born in Orinda, California. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in public relations and advertising. From 2001 to 2003, Nicole was a member of the U.S. National team. In 2003, she played for the bronze medal team in the Pan-Am games. After graduating from Minnesota, she played internationally in Italy and Japan. In the 2008 Olympic games, she and partner Elaine Youngs placed 5th overall.

  • Twice named the AVP’s Most Improved Player
  • Placed 5th overall in the 2008 Beijing Olympics with partner Elaine Youngs
  • Two-time Second-team All-American
  • 2000 Big Ten Co-Player of the Year
  • Set record for most kills in Big Ten history with 2,379
  • Career kill total ranks 6th in NCAA Division I, though she has played in fewer games than the top 5
