March 20, 2008 – Orlando, FL Athletes for Hope CEO Ivan Blumberg put on an Education Presentation at the ATP Tour University in Florida. The ATP Tour University brings together the top ranked players in the ATP throughout the season. The players heard all about the Athletes for April 25, 2008 – Washington, DC Athletes for Hope CEO Ivan Blumberg and Chairman of the Board of Directors Mark Levinstein put on an Education Presentation for the MLS Real Salt Lake on Friday. The team was in town to play DC United. They heard all about the Athletes for Hope June 2008 - Washington, DC The AFH Board of Directors voted to add Greg Taylor and Greg Roberts to the Board. Greg Roberts is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the former President and CEO of Washington, D.C. August 29, 2008 – Washington, DC Athletes for Hope Chairman of the Board of Directors Mark Levinstein put on a second Education Presentation for the MLS New York Red Bulls on Friday. The team was in town to play DC United and after presenting to the team last year, AFH member Seth August 29, 2008 – Cincinnati, OH The AVP Beach Volleyball Tour invited Athletes for Hope to the Players Lounge at the Crocs Tour stop in Cincinnati. AFH was able to talk to many AVP players during their downtime of the tournament and all the athletes had the opportunity to sign up October 21, 2008 Athletes for Hope and corporate partner Genworth Financial put together a three-part Genworth Sports Charity Series in Boston, Philadelphia and New York in the Fall of 2008.
