BIOGRAPHY

Nastia was born in 1989 in Moscow, Russia. Her parents, Anna and Valeri, were both gymnasts. She grew up in Parker, Texas. Nastia is a freshman at Southern Methodist University in Texas. Nastia recently participated in the 2008 Superstars of Gymnastics Tour.

Athletic Achievements

• All-Around Gold Medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics
• Three silver medals and a Bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics
• Member of the team that finished first at the 2007 World Championships
• Second Place All-Around Finish at the 2005 World Championships
• Nine total World Medals, tied for most by a female gymnast
