Nancy Goffi

BIOGRAPHY

Nancy Augustyniak Goffi was born in Peachtree City, Georgia. She played for Macintosh High School led the team to a 1995 state championship. She attended Clemson University and was a stand-out member of the defensive line. From 2001 to 2003, she played for the WUSA Atlanta Beat. In 2003, she moved to Germany to play with the FCC Turbine Potsdam team. She played abroad through 2004 with the German team WFL Wolfsburg and spent a partial season in Sweden, playing for Stattena IF. She began playing with FC Indiana of the WPSL in 2005 and led the team to the league championship. Nancy is married to Duke University’s assistant men’s tennis coach, Josh Goffi. She is currently a defender for the Boston Breakers.

  • Selected as on of the Top 50 Players in ACC history
  • 2000 – ACC Championship and Elite 8 appearance
