Boston Breaker Heather Mitts Continues to Visit Boys & Girls Clubs Across the Country

U.S. and Boston Breakers Soccer Star Heather Mitts took time out of her busy training schedule to visit the Gerald and Darlene Jordan Boys and Girls Club in Chelsea, MA on May 14th and May 26th. Heather previously visited Boys and Girls Clubs in Hollywood, CA, Cincinnati, OH, and Philadelphia, PA, so she is thrilled to continue her B&G Club involvement by working with a club in the Boston area.

Because of Heather’s deep commitment to philanthropic service, ABC News featured her in a volunteering special which will air on local affiliates throughout the country, and an ABC camera crew filmed Heather during her May 26th B&G Club visit.

During her B&G Club visits, Heather shared her story of overcoming obstacles, and then placed the kids into groups to work on their soccer skills. Once they were finished with their skill building activities, Heather answered questions, signed autographs and took photos with everyone.
