Mike RichterBIOGRAPHYMichael Richter was born in Abington, Pennsylvania. He was a two year star at the University of Wisconsin, and was selected in the second round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. He represented the US in the World and Junior championships, and the Olympics. He was drafted by the New York Rangers and as a goaltender helped the team to win the Stanley Cup in the 1993-1994 season. Richter played the entirety of his 14-year NHL career for the Rangers. He announced his retirement in 2003. In 2004, he returned to college at Yale University and has now begun coaching.Athletic Accomplishments
