BIOGRAPHY

Jon Michael “Mike” Adams was born on July 29, 1978 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mike Adams attended Sinton High School in Sinton, Texas where he received All-State honors for both baseball and basketball. After graduation, he continued fostering his athletic abilities at Texas A&M at Kingsville. In 2001 he was signed to the Milwaukee Brewers as an undrafted free agent. Adams made his Major League Baseball debut on May 18, 2004. He has played for the New York Mets and the Cleveland Indians. Currently, he is a relief pitcher for the San Diego Padres.

In 2004 Mike Adams was the recipient of the Brewers Top Newcomer Award and was named the South Texas Pro Pitcher of Year at the South Texas Winter Banquet.
