BIOGRAPHY

Loree Smith was born November 6, 1982 in Florida. She moved to Colorado when she was six. She graduated from Julesburg High School in 2000 and went on to attend Colorado State University. Cook graduated CSU with an impressive athletic record and a degree in English. She then spent time training in Colorado Springs at the Air Force Academy, in San Diego at the Olympic Center, and in Eugene, OR at Track Town USA. She now resides in Phoenix, AZ. Smith placed 4th at the 2008 Olympic Trials, and in February 2010 was the runner-up at the USATF Indoor Championship.
