Joanna Lohman from the Washington Freedom supports the stars of Fugees Family!

On June 20th, Joanna Lohman from the Washington Freedom attended a benefit event in in support of the Fugees Family, a Georgia-based youth soccer team comprised of refugees from all over the world. In the recently released book, Outcasts United, author Warren St. John tells how this unlikely group of refugees came together to form a successful soccer team in a very unlikely place: rural Georgia. The benefit included The Futboleros, a Los Angeles-based soccer troupe, a performance by Chopteeth Afrofunk Band, and the opportunity to speak with Warren St. John.
