Throughout my 20-year career in athlete representation, I have experienced the profound effect and influence that professional athletes have on those around them. From children’s summer camps to building schools and recreation centers to raising money for cancer, many athletes utilize their high profile status to make a difference in the lives of those in need. By combining the participation of professional athletes with the philanthropic efforts of the general public, as well as the corporate community, we can achieve results that are exponentially more impactful. Imagine how many more lives would be touched if every athlete gave just a few hours or days out of their schedules to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Athletes for Hope has been founded by a few very successful athletes of exemplary character with whom I am very proud to work. Through initiatives that focus on educating athletes about philanthropy, connecting athletes with charities, and recognizing athletes for their philanthropic contributions, we believe that we can inspire millions of people to support charitable causes and make the world a better place for everyone. By teaching athletes how to give back, we equip them with the tools to make a difference both nationally and in each of their respective communities. By connecting athletes and charities, we enhance support for a charity’s cause through an athlete’s participation while also enabling the athlete to give back to his or her desired cause. Lastly, by recognizing athletes for their good work in the community, we inspire their fans, other athletes, and empower those around us to make a difference in the lives of others.

While athlete and charity participation is critical to achieving our initiatives, individual and corporate supporters are equally important to the success of Athletes for Hope. In many of our future initiatives, especially large scale programs and events, athletes and charities will depend on the support of individual volunteers to aid in their cause. By joining our supporter and volunteer database, you will help ensure that we will have the necessary support to help those in need.
