BIOGRAPHY
Lamarra Currie graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2009, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. She was awarded the Atlantic 10 Postgraduate Scholarship, and was the A-10 Female Scholar Athlete of the Year in both indoor and outdoor season. During her graduation she also received the UNC Charlotte’s Provost Award for Student-Athlete Academic Achievement. Currie, a sprinter at Charlotte, competed at the NCAA Regional and National Championships and led the women’s team to three consecutive conference titles.
