BIOGRAPHY

Washington Freedom defender Kristi Eveland hails from Southlake, TX. She attended University of North Carolina, where she started all four years. She was the National Semifinalist for the Lowe’s Senior Class Award, and in 2009 was honored with ESPN The Magazine All-American First-team and ACC Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team. During her 2009 season she tied the UNC school record for most games played and started.

She was drafted by the Washington Freedom in 2010, the 38th pick overall.
