May 4th, 2008 - Colorado Crush Quarterback John Dutton and the Dutton Family Foundation announce “JD’s Touchdown Club”
Join JD's Touchdown Club for the 2008 Season: Help John Dutton’s Touchdowns Save Lives

While John is throwing touchdowns to win games you can choose to help his touchdowns save lives as well. By teaming our resources we CAN make a MAJOR difference in our world by bringing homeless, starving children in from off the streets of Ethiopia and building a school in war torn Sudan. Please join our efforts to impact those less fortunate by joining the touchdown club. Choose a donation amount per touchdown for the 2008 season. At the end of the regular season you will be notified about how many total touchdowns he threw and your donation total.

Many times when we support ministries its hard to know exactly where our money is going. However, we want to make giving as personal as possible and send you frequent updates of how you are personally making an impact.

ETHIOPIA:
As I write this, the process for opening up a new orphanage in Ethiopia is underway. This orphanage will bring another 10-12 orphans in from off of the streets. They will be fed, clothed, given shelter, loved, and taught about the love of our Lord. The money that you have sent in has enabled us to do this. So THANK YOU!!! Also, my good friend Beth is leaving tomorrow to Ethiopia to adopt a boy from the orphanage!!! Another child finds a forever family. Psalms 68:5 says God is a "father to the fatherless, a defender of widows is God in His holy dwelling 6 He sets the lonely in families..... Praise the Lord as he has done just that. A family has opened their hearts and homes to a lonely orphan who can now call them Mom and Dad.

SUDAN:
We also recently paid for the tuition for some of the family members of the Lost Boys of Sudan who are still living in the Kakuma refugee camp as refugees some 20 years from the time they were forced to flee their villages. We have had a chance to hang out with the Lost Boys that are now in Denver and are getting to know them. Their personal stories of survival are incredible and they are truly inspiring to be around.

About the Dutton Family Foundation
John and Terina Dutton established “To lead, nurture, and inspire the faith, integrity, and service of both our present and future generations.”

The Foundation’s Vision is to help others grow into men and women of character and integrity. Whether it is to come along side them and offer the basic necessities to survive or to provide hope to people lost in today’s immoral culture; we want to make a difference- one person at a time. In faith, we will encourage them to deepen their relationship with the Lord, With integrity, we will challenge them to fulfill Gods purpose for their lives, and through service we will teach them to become the leaders of their generation.
