Jeff Green returns to the Homeless Children's Playtime Project

Jeff Green returns to the Homeless Children's Playtime Project
On Thursday evening Jeff Green of the Boston Celtics returned to the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project (HCPP): a non-profit organization dedicated to serving Washington D.C.’s most underserved children. For this special occasion, when the children of HCPP arrived for programing they were welcomed by Jeff and were able to simply hang out and spend time together doing art projects and reading books. Once the entire group arrived, Jeff and the group of 15 – 20 kids headed to a nearby park to play basketball. After a few games, the group returned to the center and concluded the evening by reading one of Jeff’s favorite children’s books: It’s not easy being big.

This was Jeff’s second time with HCPP and he very much looks forward to working with this great non-profit organization again. Being a D.C. native himself, Jeff is aware of the need for organizations like HCPP and enjoys giving back.
