Hunter Freeman

BIOGRAPHY

Hunter Freeman was born in Tyler, Texas. As a teenager he trained at the U.S. Soccer Federation’s Bradenton Academy with the U.S. U-17 national team. Hunter went on to play three outstanding seasons at the University of Virginia before he left after his junior season to be selected by the Colorado Rapids as the 7th overall pick in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft. The defender has since played for the New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC and will play will the Norwegian soccer club IK Start in 2009.
