October 21, 2008 - NFL players, Gerris Wilkinson, Abram Elam and Jack Brewer joined Genworth Financial in revitalizing and Speaking to Local Youth at Jackie Robinson Park

Gerris Wilkinson of the NFL Super Bowl Champion New York Giants joined Genworth and some of our key advisors in NYC last week to help revitalize the local Jackie Robinson Park in collaboration with HCCI, City of New York Parks and Recreation, Athletes for Hope, and NeighborWorks America. Wilkinson joined the volunteers in cleaning up trash and debris, as well as planting new tulip bulbs in the garden area.

Additionally, NFL player Abram Elam of the New York Jets and retired player Jack Brewer shared their experiences with over 50 youth of the after-school program and flag football team. The event was a way for Genworth Financial to give back and support their charitable partners.

The day in NYC was the 3rd event in the '08 Genworth Sports Charity Series.
