BIOGRAPHY

Funmi Jimoh, an American long jumper, was born on May 29, 1984 in Seattle, Washington. She is a 2002 graduate of Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas where she ran for Coach Cara Henderson and the Vikings. After graduation, she attended Rice University where she competed in the long jump and sprinting events. At Rice, she majored in English and Philosophy. In July 2008, she placed third at the U.S. Olympic Trials to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
