David Berghoefer

BIOGRAPHY

David Berghoefer was born in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. David played collegiately at Western Carolina. During his senior season he was one of just 30 active players in the NCAA to have at least 1,000 points and 600 rebounds. After completing his senior year at Western California University in 2006, Berghoefer signed to play in Poland for Znicz Sokolow Jaroslaw. He spent the 2007-08 season in the Germany with the Duesseldorf Magics, averaging 10.9 points and a league-leading 11.4 rebounds in 18 games. For the 2008-2009 season, he played in the NBA D-League for the Bakersfield JAM.

  • Finished his WCU career with 1,180 career points ranking 23rd on the WCU all-time list.
  • 10th on the WCU career list for field goal percentage at .497
  • Named "Top Center in Wisconsin" by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
