After also playing tennis at St. John the Baptist High School, Chris went on to play soccer for the St. John’s University Red Storm. A member of St. John’s President’s Society and NCSAA Scholar-Athlete Award winner, he graduated from St. John’s with a degree in Communication Arts. He was selected 12th by the Columbus Crew in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft and currently plays defense for Real Salt Lake. Chris made his first appearance with the US National Team, against Sweden on January 24, 2008.Athletic Achievements
