Chris Rolfe

BIOGRAPHY

Chris Rolfe was born in Kettering, Ohio, where he played soccer at Fairmont High School. He then went on to the University of Dayton, where he overcame a number of injuries to have a strong four-year career. Chris also spent two seasons with the Fire Premier of the Premier Development League. He has played with the Chicago Fire of the MLS since being selected in the 2005 SuperDraft, and has also made four international appearances with the US National Team.

Athletic Achievements
  • Made his first international start and recorded an assist against Guatemala in 2006
  • Finalist for the 2005 MLS Rookie of the Year award
  • Helped the Fire Premier to an undefeated regular season record in 2004
  • 2004 NSCAA Second Team All-America
  • 2002 and 2004 First Team All-Atlantic 10
  • 2001 Atlantic Ten All-Rookie Team
  • Set the career record for goals (73) at Fairmont High School
