BIOGRAPHY

Carli Lloyd was born in 1982 to parents Steve and Pam. She grew up in Delran, New Jersey. Carli graduated from Rutgers University in 2004 with a degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. She joined the US national soccer team in 2005. Carli was selected by the Chicago Red Stars of Women's Professional Soccer. She currently plays for Sky Blue FC in New Jersey.

Athletic Achievements

• 2008 US Women's Soccer Player of the Year
• Gold Medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics
• Scored the winning goal for the US in the Gold Medal Game vs Brazil in Beijing
• MVP of the 2007 Argarve Cup
• 2001 Big East Rookie of the Year - first Rutger's player to win the honor
