Brian Scalabrine

BIOGRAPHY

Brian Scalabrine was born in 1978 in Long Beach, California, and played basketball at Enumclaw High School in Enumclaw, Washington. After starring at Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington, Brian went on to play for three years at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a degree in social science. Selected by the New Jersey Nets in 2001, Scalbrine currently plays for the Boston Celtics. He married his wife, Kristen in 2003.

Athletic Achievements
  • Ranks 6th in career points (1441) and 7th in career blocks (81) at USC
  • Started 91 of 92 games at USC
  • Selected to the All-Pac-10 First Team and Sporting News All-American Honorable Mention in 2000
  • Named the 1999 Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year and All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention after his sophomore season at USC
