The Boston Breakers Meet with Girls Inc. of LynnOn August 11th, Sue Weber, Nancy Goffi, and Kelly Schmedes of the Boston Breakers spent the afternoon with members of Girls Inc., a nonprofit youth organization for young women. Breakers held an open discussion about their careers and the importance of education and goals in achieving success. The Breakers shared their own personal experiences with the girls as well as offered helpful tips in becoming successful women. To wrap up the visit, there were awards distributed to the girls for participating in Olympic Day. Both the players and the girls had a great time. This is the Breakers first visit with Girls Inc. but definitely not their last. They look forward to continue to work with this organization in the future to help young women on the path to success!
