Nicole Branagh Hosts a Volleyball Clinic at the Carson City Boys & Girls Club

On September 21st, the Carson City Boys and Girls Club in California were greeted by a special guest. Nicole Branagh of the AVP visited the kids at the Boys and Girls club. This was not Nicole’s first visit to the Boys and Girls club in Carson. From her visits in the pasts she was able to jump right into things after short “catch up” session about Nicole’s volleyball season, where she won two tournaments with gold medalist, Misty May-Treanor.

Shortly after the introduction, Nicole led the kids outside to run a short volleyball clinic for kids. Nicole led the group through several drills and went over the basic strategy of the game. The kids were excited to learn and get tips from Nicole. To conclude Nicole’s visit she meant with Program Director of Smart Girls. Smart Girls is an initiative to help girls succeed in life. Nicole and the program director discussed how they could form a relationship in the future to work with the girls in the program.
