Bill Bray

BIOGRAPHY

Bill Bray was born on June 5, 1983 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He attended the College of William & Mary where he played baseball for three seasons and was named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association’s second team. In the 2004 draft, Bray was the 13th overall selection by the former Montreal Expos, which relocated and became the Washington Nationals. He made his major league debut as a relief pitcher on June 3, 2006, earning the win against the Milwaukee Brewers. On July13, 2006 Bray was traded to the Cincinnati Reds. In 2009 he underwent Tommy John surgery on his left elbow at the beginning of his season with the Triple-A Louisville Bats.
