AVP player, Angela Knopf, partners with the Fort Collins Recreation DepartmentAngela Knopf took a break from the sand and spent the morning helping out with the Adaptive Canoe Clinic on Saturday, June 27th. The clinic was put on by the Fort Collins Recreation Department and gave instruction on how to canoe to individuals with disabilities. Angela spent the day helping out and interacting with the clients. After a successful morning of canoeing, Angela looks forward to her next opportunity to work with the Fort Collins Recreation Department. About Fort Collins Adaptive Recreation Opportunities Program The Fort Collins Recreation Division provides equal and quality recreation for community members with disabilities. Adaptive Recreation Opportunities (ARO) ensures that individuals with disabilities have the necessary accommodations or support to participate in any recreation program at their highest level of independence.
