Amanda Stevens Serves as a Mentor to Young Women
Amanda Stevens teamed up with Start 2 Achieve to serve as a mentor to young women at Liberty High School who wanted direction on setting goals, both personally and academically. On Wednesday, November 18th, Amanda met with the girls for the first time. She spent an hour with them, sharing her story and the life lessons she has learned through athletics and academics. Through her story, Amanda offered guidance to the young women on how to reach all of their aspirations.

“Amanda is an excellent role model for our students,” said school counselor Carol Wallander. “Her enthusiasm and genuine interest in these students was well received by the girls. I am very pleased by her interest in continuing this mentoring relationship as both need encouragement and guidance.”

Amanda has already set up another mentoring session with the girls for early December. She is excited to have the opportunity to make such a meaningful impact on their lives!
