Amanda Hahn

BIOGRAPHY

Amanda started swimming at the age of 5 for the YMCA Bolts. She first competed in a triathlon at the age of 8 as a challenge from her swim coach. She continued doing sprint triathlons around Florida as well as the Iron Kids series and in 1996 was the Ironkids Junior National Champion. Amanda continued to compete in swimming and triathlon throughout high school and during her freshman year, added cross country and track to her repertoire of sports. During her high school career, she qualified for state a total of 16 times (10 in swimming, 6 in running) and was a 2-time regional champion in the 3200 meter run. Amanda continued competing in triathlon in addition to her high school sports and was a 3-time Junior National Champion and 2-time World Championships qualifier.
