Ali Krieger

BIOGRAPHY

Midfielder Ali Krieger hails from Dumfries, VA and graduated from Penn State University after making a huge impression on their women’s soccer team. She was named Big-Team Freshman of the Year in 2003 and helped her team win four consecutive Big-Ten championships. Since college, she has played for FFC Frankfurt, starting for them when they won the German Cup and UEFA Cup in 2007-2008, and was also an alternate for the U.S Olympic women’s soccer team. She joined Washington Freedom by being loaned from FCC Frankfurt.

Athletic Achievements
  • Two-time NSCAA All-American at Penn State University
  • Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2006
  • Member of USWNT that won the 2008 Four Nations Tournament
